CBS Outdoor International Promotes Antonio Alonso As Chief Executive Officer

Leslie Moonves, President and Chief Executive Officer, CBS Corporation has announced that Antonio Alonso has been promoted as Chief Executive Officer of CBS Outdoor International replacing Clive Punter. Alonso was responsible for assets and development for all international markets serving as Chief Development Officer.

Alonso as Chief Executive Officer will oversee the Company’s international portfolio of outdoor businesses, including the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and mainland China. He played crucial role in managing CBS Outdoor’s 2008 acquisition of the International Outdoor Advertising Group, the leading out-of-home advertising company in South America with more than 17,000 advertising faces in Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay.

Leslie Moonves said “Antonio is one of the sharpest minds in outdoor media with a keen understanding of the international marketplace. He has exceeded expectations in every role he has served within our company, and his work integrating IOA into the CBS framework distinguished himself as a first class outdoor executive with a deft hand in dealing with foreign clients and constituencies. I’m confident those same qualities will be of great benefit in this new role.”
