DirecTV Adds Local HD Networks in the Des Moines-Ames, Iowa Area

DirecTV has added local high-definition channels to the subscribers in the Des Moines-Ames, Iowa area on Wednesday, Nov. 19. The leading satellite provider in the country is now offering local HD broadcast channels in 115 cities, representing more than 87 percent of U.S. TV households.
