ESPN Deportes has announced the broadcast schedule of winter baseball from the Venezuela, Dominican Republic and Mexico. ESPN Deportes will provide extensive coverage of the game and will
provide 60 winter league baseball games, including each league’s championship series.
ESPN Deportes will televise the games in various ESPN platforms like ESPN Deportes, ESPN Deportes Radio, ESPN, ESPN Deportes La Revista and ESPNdeportes.com. ESPN will conclude the coverage with 2009 Caribbean Series LIVE from Mexicali, Mexico and will present 200 hours of winter baseball related programming.
ESPN started its Live coverage on Wed, Oct. 15 with the Venezuelan League featuring Navegantes del Magallanes and Cardenales de Lara.

Venezuelan Professional Baseball League opening round will have 62 games played from October to December. The top two teams from each division, as well as the best third place team, will move on to the 16-game round robin semifinals in January.

Mexican Pacific League
ESPN Deportes is to broadcast the finals of the Mexican Pacific League in January. Mexican Pacific League has long been recognized as one of the big four winter leagues and features a mix of major league players, top prospects and Mexican League players and running for over five decades as a winter league. The games are played from the middle of October to the end of December with playoffs and final series in January.
