Instant Krazy Glue, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio has launched a nationwide video contest “Commercials Gone Krazy.” Participants can submit as many videos featuring “Commercials Gone Krazy,” and the entries have to be in miniDV, BETA SP or MP4 format and should be one minute or less duration. The last date for submitting the entries will be Oct. 31 and winner will be judged on Nov. 1 and the top 10 videos will be available for public voting. Public can vote from Nov. 14 to Dec. 2 via the contest Web site. The winner of “Commercials Gone Krazy” will be announced on Dec. 12, will receive a trip for two to Maui, Hawaii and participants also have the chance to win one of nine $250 Apple gift certificates or a vintage Krazy Glue t-shirt.
“With the growing popularity of online video sites like YouTube, this contest will be an enjoyable way for people to experience a well-known brand in a new and creative way,” said Mary Beth Cowardin, Instant Krazy Glue senior marketing manager. “Each commercial should convey the message that there is only one brand of instant glue that is crazy strong and crazy fast; and that’s Krazy Glue.”
