Lifetime Television will launch original prime-time comedy series “Rita Rocks,” beginning Monday, Oct. 20. This is Lifetimes’ comedy series in a decade and will be five new episodes airing in a week strip concluding Friday, October 24, at 8:30PM ET. Lifetime also starts its one-hour special programming
“Reba,” at 8PM ET.
JoAnn Alfano, Executive Vice President, Entertainment, Lifetime Networks, said, “We are very excited about ‘Rita Rocks’ and believe that by launching it behind ‘Reba’ for five consecutive nights we will ensure the widest possible sampling. We hope to build a strong one-hour comedy block by pairing these two very compatible shows.”
