MountainWest Sports Network To Begin HD Broadcast on Nov.22

The Mountain West Sports Network (The Mtn.) will begin its high-definition broadcast with MWC Football Saturday at 11 a.m MT on November 22. The Mtn. will bring nine hours of HD programming throughout Saturday and will expand its HD programming to deliver more contents in high-definition.
The sports network will recognize the fans need of clarity and crispness that HD provides to view sports programming. The Mtn. is planning to bring following programming in HD on launch:

MWC Football Saturday at 11 a.m. MT

Colorado State at Wyoming at12 p.m. MT

BYU at Utah at 4 p.m. MT

The Mtn. Live at The Stadium

Kim Carver of Mountain West Sports Network said “I also want to acknowledge the Mountain West Conference for underwriting these telecasts in high-definition. Being able to bring this product forward was only possible through the true spirit of partnership that exists between The Mtn. and the Conference.”

High-Definition programming of The Mtn. games are available on DirecTV and subscribers need an HD-capable receiver and subscribe to Choice or Above Programming package or SportsPack.
