NASA TV To Broadcast the Next Space Station Cargo Ship Arrival

NASA Television will broadcast a live coverage of a new shipment of food, fuel and supplies to the residents of the International Space Station on Friday, Sept. 12. NASA will begin the coverage at 3:30 PM CDT as the unpiloted ISS Progress 30 resupply craft, which will automatically dock to the aft port of the Zvezda service module at 4:01 PM on Sept. 12. The cargo ship is to deliver more than 2 tons of supplies for the station’s three crew members. The resupply craft is scheduled to be launched at 2:50 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 10, from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. NASA TV will not broadcast the launch.
