Outdoor Channel Holdings Announces First Quarter 2009 Results

Outdoor Channel Holdings has announced its first quarter results for the period ended March 31, 2009. The Company has reported increased revenues of 45.3 percent due to its acquisition of Winnercomm Inc.

Oudoor Channel Holdings has announced a total revenue of $17 million to $11.7 million, comparing to first quarter of March end 2008 and advertising revenue from $7.6 million to $7.8 million, an increase of 2.1 percent. A good subscriber fees of $4.7 million from $4 million, an increase of 15.2 percent.

Outdoor Channel Holdings has acquired certain assets of Winnercomm Inc. in January 2009.

Werner, President and Chief Executive Officer of Outdoor Channel Holdings said “During the first quarter we continued to build upon our category leadership position and generated positive advertising growth despite the challenging operating environment, we also made additional progress expanding the distribution of our core network. Our balance sheet remains exceptionally strong and we continue to promote cost efficiencies across our organization. We remain very positive about our long-term growth profile. Due to our compelling programming, expanding distribution and consistent ability to deliver highly targeted audiences to our advertisers, we believe we are well positioned to benefit as the economy begins to recover.”
