RCN Corporation has entered a multi-year deal with Highgate Hotels to provide digital television service. This agreement will allow RCN to deliver its television programming, voice services to five properties of Highgate Hotels in New York. The cable operator will provide high-definition programming, Video On-Demand and other services to three thousand guest rooms without requiring an in-room Cable Box. RCN will also upgrade it’s the DoubleTree Metropolitan, Radisson Lexington and Park Central Hotels services. The new installation will be over and start its operation in February 2009.
