The Spanish telecommunication company Telefónica has launched a new high-definition service. This new HD service is available to its ‘Imagenio’ IPTV service subscribers. Telefónica has recently got approval for its new fibre-to-the-home service from the Telecommunications Market Commission.
A high-definition set-top box will be provided to all its Trío Futura 10 subscribers. This new service called Imagenio HD offers high-definition programming and has started with Canal+ and more HD channels are coming to the line-up very soon.
