The Sports Network (TSN) and National Hockey League (NHL) have reached a multi-year deal to distribute the NHL content across different media worldwide. This agreement will allow TSN to distribute the NHL games exclusively and will be official distributor of real-time NHL game statistics worldwide to Web sites, broadcasters, arenas, fantasy games, and selected mobile applications. The Sports Network will also distribute daily online video that re-caps overnight NHL action “NHL Daily Dose” and also “The Hockey Show.” TSN will also market and distribute National Hockey League’s real time scores, NHL Hits which includes box score data such as goals, assists, points, shots, penalties, time on ice, cumulative season stats for players and teams, player career statistics, league standings and official scoring leaders.
