TV Land PRIME Lines up Three Original Series For 2009

TV Land has ordered for three new original series to be premiered in 2009 on its TV Land PRIME. Larry W. Jones, TV Land Preseident announced this and said “These new series will be broadcast along with ‘She’s Got The Look’ and ‘High School Reunion’ along with a ‘The Cougar.’ Jones also said “We are thrilled to work with some of the most influential television producers in the business to bring these new dynamic original series to TV Land PRIME, From romance reignited and carefully planned coincidences to riches revealed, we are sure that these shows will resonate with our audience.”

Following are the three new original series lined-up for TV Land PRIME.

First Love, Second Chance: Produced for TV Land by Granada America Entertainment, First Love, Second Chance is a new series that gives long-lost sweethearts an opportunity to rekindle their romance…years later. Whether it is unrequited love or a relationship that ended badly, the couples decide if it is worth giving it another shot after all these years.

How’d You Get So Rich: Executive produced by Mark Burnett and Zoo Productions, Inc, this series is a funny and engaging series, driven by lavish mansions and asked the question, “Who lives there?” Gossip diva Joan Rivers leaves no stone unturned as she searches the country to find out how wealthy people got their riches and, more importantly, how they spend their money.

Make My Day: Hidden cameras capture the action as contestants are put through a series of wonderful and weird coincidences in this new series based on a British format. Extraordinary situations and surprise appearances from celebrities, friends and family members allow “Make My Day” to provide a window into one day in the life of an unsuspecting participant. “Make My Day” is produced for TV Land by Embassy Row, Monkey Kingdom and Sony Pictures Television. Michael Davies serves as the executive producer.
